
Books For Sale: Historic Oakland by Clifford C. Ham
Historic Oakland is a collection of articles written by the late Clifford C. Ham for The Oakland
Newspaper between 1989 and 1995. The Oakland Newspaper was a monthly publication by OPDC that kept residents aware of what was happening in their neighborhood while contributing to the vitality of Oakland. The book was edited by Clifford’s wife, Marilyn P. Ham, and is a wonderful collection of articles that give a historic perspective on the way the neighborhood once was, and how each event has lead to what makes Oakland the special place that it is today. The book costs $12.95 and can be shipped to your home for an extra fee, or you can stop by our office at 235 Atwood Street to purchase one at no extra cost.
